What are the landlord’s statutory requirements regarding Electrical Safety?

Landlords must ensure the property has a valid Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) completed every 5 years by a qualified electrician.

If the EICR shows C1 remedial works, these must be remedied immediately

If the EICR shows C2 remedial works, these works must be remedied 28 calendar days from the date of issue of the EICR.
