Do I need to change a tenancy agreement signed now (e.g. starting in January)?

If the tenancy begins before 1st May 2026, it will start as a standard AST. However, on 1st May 2026, it will automatically convert to the new system, and you will need to provide the tenant with the Written Statement of Information at that time.
