# Is it confirmed that Section 21 is still active until May 1st 2026?

Yes. Section 21 notices can still be validly served up until 30th April 2026. However, any court proceedings based on these notices must be commenced by 31st July 2026. It is recommended to seek independent legal advice before serving notice during this transition period.
